Little did we know how important the beginning of our company would be on the success of it today.
In 1991, a small group of experienced consultants left a prestigious consulting firm to try a new way of consulting. We started right from the beginning by designing new programs specifically for Long Term Care. Hundreds of pages, forms and flow charts eventually made up a new process that still is the backbone of our program today. The goal was to design a program that was specific for each client, was clear and easy to follow and produced results quickly.
While we were doing that, we were really designing our own success. The real backbone of our success is the ethical and moral values that we defined as we approached each situation. Things like "Honesty is the most important", "Do good and good will come back to you", "Respect, listen - you can learn from every situation" and "Work harder without telling anyone". These few principles are what we come back to today. This is what works for us. These are the things that we will take a chance on losing a job or losing a client instead of breaking our values.
Today, we find that our values extend into everything we do. Selecting clients to grow with, new employees to help us grow and even developing new products.
Who we are goes right through our company. And we developed the core of who we are when we first started. Today, we just recognize it more.
